What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60034079 is a pilot injector sized at D: 0.16 mm and intended for LPG appliances. It meters the gas supply to the pilot burner, producing the small standing flame that lights the main burner. It is used across the Chaffoteaux Britony and Corvec boiler ranges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The pilot will not light, or lights and then goes out shortly after
- Pilot flame is weak, uneven or noticeably yellow rather than a steady blue
- Sooting or discolouration around the pilot burner assembly
- The boiler repeatedly locks out on ignition
- Pilot injector bore is visibly blocked, corroded or worn after cleaning attempts
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is running on LPG, as this injector is sized for LPG only
- Check the boiler model and GC number against the fit list above
- Compare the diameter marking on the existing injector with the 0.16 mm specification
- Inspect the pilot assembly and electrode condition before refitting a new injector
