What it is

The Chaffoteaux 60027837 is a grommet used on a range of older Chaffoteaux gas boilers. It sits within the O-rings, washers and gaskets group of components, sealing and protecting where pipework or fittings pass through a panel or housing. It is listed for Celtic, Sterling, Flexiflame, Corvec and Moduloflame appliances.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible cracking, splitting or hardening of the grommet material
  • The grommet has perished or crumbled away from its seating
  • Pipework or fittings are no longer held securely where they pass through the panel
  • Signs of leakage or staining around the grommet position
  • The grommet has been disturbed during servicing and no longer seals correctly

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model and variant against the fitment list above
  • Check the appliance's date of manufacture where a fitment entry is date limited
  • Inspect the existing grommet and its seating to confirm the part is required
  • Have the manufacturer's parts list to hand if your model is not listed
