What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60026646 is a pilot injector with a 0.3 mm orifice, intended for natural gas appliances. It meters gas into the pilot burner, which provides ignition and flame supervision for the main burner. It is used across a range of Chaffoteaux gas boilers.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Pilot flame is weak, yellow, or visibly smaller than it should be
- Pilot will not stay lit, or extinguishes shortly after ignition
- Sooting or discolouration around the pilot assembly
- Boiler fails to ignite or locks out repeatedly
- Pilot flame lifts off the burner or burns erratically
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model and GC number against the fitment list
- Check the appliance is natural gas, as this injector is sized for NG
- Check the existing injector marking or orifice size to confirm 0.3 mm
- Inspect the pilot assembly and burner for debris before fitting
