What it is
This diaphragm is a Chaffoteaux diverter valve component for gas boilers and water heaters. It is listed for the Chaffoteaux Britony 2 and a wider range of Chaffoteaux appliances. The diaphragm forms part of the diverter valve assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No hot water or intermittent hot water when a tap is opened.
- Reduced domestic hot water flow.
- Diverter valve fails to move between heating and hot water.
- Water leaking from the diverter valve assembly.
- Boiler does not respond to hot water demand.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the compatibility list.
- Check the existing part number and the superseded number 52825.
- Inspect the diverter valve assembly for other worn components.
- Verify the gas type where the model listing specifies NAT GAS or LPG.

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
