What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60025558 is an M18 x 1 threaded nut used on Britony II gas boiler assemblies. It forms part of the boiler's fixing and connection hardware, securing components with an 18 mm metric thread at a 1 mm pitch. It is supplied as a single nut.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Corrosion or surface pitting on the nut body or threads
- Rounded or damaged flats, making the nut difficult to tighten or remove
- Cross-threaded or stripped internal threads
- The nut will not hold torque and works loose on the joint
- Weeping or staining at the connection the nut secures
Before you order
- Confirm the thread size on your appliance is M18 x 1
- Check your boiler model against the fitment list above
- Inspect the mating thread on the appliance for damage before fitting a new nut
- Confirm how many nuts are required for the joint being worked on
