What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60024164-35 is an O-ring with a 27.8mm diameter and a 3.6mm section. It is a sealing component used on Chaffoteaux gas boilers, including the Celtic, Flexiflame, Moduloflame and Sterling families. Its role is to seal a joint or connection against water or gas leakage.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or a visible drip at the joint the O-ring seals
- The O-ring is cracked, split or perished
- The seal is flattened or deformed and no longer sits proud of its groove
- Scale or corrosion deposits on the O-ring or in the groove
- A joint that continues to leak after being stripped and reassembled
Before you order
- Check your boiler model against the fit list above, including any date range shown
- Confirm the existing O-ring measures 27.8mm diameter with a 3.6mm section
- Identify the joint or component the O-ring seals before ordering
- Inspect the mating surfaces and groove for damage or scale, as these will affect the new seal
