What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60023206-12 is a water restrictor with a 3.8 mm diameter, used in Britony II gas boilers. It limits water flow through the relevant circuit so the appliance runs at its designed flow rate. It is a small serviceable component fitted within the boiler's water circuit.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Reduced or inconsistent water flow at the outlet
- Flow rate drifting from the appliance's specified value
- Scale or debris build-up narrowing or blocking the restrictor
- Water weeping from around the restrictor seating
- Poor or erratic hot water performance linked to flow
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above
- Check the existing restrictor diameter matches 3.8 mm
- Inspect the restrictor housing for scale or damage before fitting
