What it is
A 3/8 inch thick nut supplied by Chaffoteaux under part number 60020746-20. It is a fixing component used on Chaffoteaux gas boiler assemblies across the Celt Star, G24E and Nexia ranges. The nut forms part of the boiler's mechanical connections and is listed within the screws, nuts, bolts and clips category of boiler spares.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The nut is rounded, corroded or seized on its thread
- The nut will not torque down and slips when tightened
- Visible cracking or deformation of the nut body
- Thread damage preventing a secure gas or water connection
- A joint that weeps or leaks at the nut after reassembly
Before you order
- Confirm the part number 60020746-20 matches the item required for your appliance
- Check the thread size and profile against the fitting you are replacing
- Verify your boiler model against the fitment list above before ordering
- Inspect the mating thread for damage, as a worn stud or fitting will not seal with a new nut
