What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60010372-08 is a drain screw used on Corvec 140 and Flexiflame 140 appliances. It sits in the appliance's water circuit and is removed to drain the system during servicing or repair. It is a small consumable component, so the sealing face and thread condition matter when refitting.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or seeping from around the screw head
- Corrosion, scale or pitting on the screw body or thread
- A rounded or chewed head that will not turn cleanly
- Difficulty getting a watertight seal after draining and refitting
- Damp staining or residue below the drain point
Before you order
- Check your appliance model against the fitment list above
- Confirm the part number 60010372-08 matches the one on your existing screw or parts list
- Inspect the sealing washer or seal at the drain point and confirm whether it is reusable or supplied separately
- Confirm the appliance has been drained and depressurised before removal
