What it is
The Ariston 60003308 is a five-stud flange gasket that seals the element mounting flange on Ariston ST 50, ST 80 and ST 100 Protech appliances. It replaces the earlier part number 924001 and is supplied as a single gasket. The gasket sits between the flange face and the vessel, compressing under the stud fixings to form a watertight joint around the element.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or a damp stain around the element flange
- Visible hardening, cracking or flattening of the gasket material
- Scale or corrosion deposits tracked across the flange face
- Recurring leaks after the element has been removed and refitted
- Gasket damage found during an element replacement
