What it is
The Ariston 3000W immersion heater with PCB is a cylinder heating element assembly for Ariston Protech Edition 3 unvented cylinders produced up to September 2007. The 3000W element heats the stored water directly, and the assembly is supplied with a printed circuit board. It is a service part for replacing a failed element or control board on the cylinder.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No hot water from the cylinder even when the immersion is switched on
- Element fails a continuity test or reads open circuit
- RCD or MCB trips when the immersion heater is energised
- Heavy scale build-up or noisy operation from the element
- PCB fault preventing the immersion from switching on
