What it is

The Ariston 60002827 is a 3kW, 240V immersion heating element supplied with a thermostat and an anode, manufactured by Ariston for the Primo range of cylinders. It heats the stored water and provides thermostat control of the cylinder temperature, with the anode included as part of the assembly. It is a service component for the two Primo models listed below.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • No hot water from the cylinder
  • RCD or circuit breaker tripping when the immersion is switched on
