What it is
The Ariston 60001883 is an ionization electrode cable used across the Ariston CLAS and E-System/E-Combi EVO boiler ranges. It carries the flame ionization signal from the electrode back to the boiler control board, allowing the PCB to confirm a flame has been established and to shut the gas valve if it has not.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler locks out shortly after ignition or fails to detect flame
- Intermittent ignition faults or repeated lockout codes
- Flame detection fault displayed on the boiler
- Cracked, brittle or heat-damaged cable insulation
- Loose or corroded connector at the electrode or PCB end
