What it is
The TEMPERATURE+PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE is an Ariston safety component intended for use on Aquabravo ITSI unvented hot water cylinders. It relieves excess temperature and pressure from the cylinder, protecting the vessel and connected pipework from over-pressure conditions. The valve is supplied under Ariston part number 60001802.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or discharging from the valve outlet when the cylinder is at normal operating temperature and pressure.
- Continuous drip from the discharge pipe with no demand on the cylinder.
- Scale or debris visible at the valve seat or outlet, preventing it from sealing.
- The valve fails to operate when tested by lifting the lever or when the cylinder reaches its set limits.
