What it is
The Ariston 60001279 is an air pressure switch rated at 130 Pa. It monitors the pressure produced by the combustion fan and proves airflow before the appliance is allowed to fire. It is used on the Ariston NEXT 14 SFT NG UK appliance.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The appliance locks out shortly after the fan starts, with no ignition sequence.
- Repeated lockouts that clear on reset but return on the next demand for heat.
- The fan runs but the boiler does not attempt to fire.
- Intermittent faults that appear in cold or windy weather, when flue pressure readings vary.
- Fault codes or lockout behaviour pointing to an airflow or pressure proving fault.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model matches the fitment listed above.
- Check the pressure rating marked on the existing switch against the 130 Pa rating of this part.
- Inspect the sensing tubes and connections for blockage, splits or trapped condensate before replacing the switch.
- Note the wiring connections and terminal order on the existing switch before removal.
