What it is

The Chaffoteaux 60000954 is a thermostat used on Duo 120, 150 and 200 Litre cylinders. It monitors the stored water temperature and signals the heat source to hold the cylinder at its set point. It sits within the Chaffoteaux Duo cylinder range and is listed under gas boiler spares and cylinder components.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Hot water runs consistently hotter or cooler than the set temperature
  • Cylinder temperature drifts or fluctuates between draws
  • Water fails to reach the set temperature at all
  • The heat source cycles on and off more frequently than expected
  • The cylinder overheats or the temperature cannot be brought down

Before you order

  • Confirm your cylinder is a Chaffoteaux Duo in 120, 150 or 200 Litre
  • Check whether your model is the MIXT MONO CER variant
  • Match the part number 60000954 against the component being removed
  • Isolate the electrical supply and water before fitting
