What it is
The Ariston 60000880 is a non-return valve supplied for Ariston gas boilers. It sits in the appliance's water circuit and prevents reverse flow through the pipework it serves. The part is listed by Ariston under the isolation valve category for gas boiler spares.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water passing in the wrong direction through the valve, indicating the internal seal is no longer seating
- Pressure or level changes in one circuit affecting another, suggesting cross-flow past the valve
- Persistent dripping or weeping from the valve body or its connections
- Debris or scale in the system holding the valve open
- Loss of the one-way function after the valve has been disturbed during other work
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above, as the same part number is used across several Ariston ranges
- Check the GC number on your appliance data badge where one is listed for your model
- Compare the part number on the existing valve with 60000880 before ordering
- Isolate and drain the relevant circuit before removing the old valve

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
