What it is

The Ariston 60000807 is a grommet used on Ariston EGIS He and EGIS Premium appliances. It seals the point where a pipe or cable passes through a panel, protecting the opening and the component passing through it. It is a small consumable part, so it is worth checking its condition whenever the appliance is opened for service.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The grommet is split, cracked or perished
  • The grommet has hardened and no longer seals against the pipe or cable
  • The grommet is missing or has been pulled out of its panel opening
  • Water, dirt or debris is passing through the opening the grommet should seal
  • The pipe or cable is chafing against a bare panel edge

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
  • Check the part number on the existing grommet or in the manufacturer's parts list
  • Inspect the opening and the pipe or cable it seals to confirm the grommet is the item required
  • Check whether any other seals or grommets disturbed during the same repair also need replacing
