What it is
The cable inlet rubber washer is a sealing component fitted where the mains cable enters the boiler casing. It is supplied by Ariston under part number 60000540 for use across the CLAS HE, E-Combi and E-System boiler families. Its job is to close off the cable entry point so the casing seal stays intact and water cannot track in around the flex.

- The rubber is perished, hardened or cracked
- The washer is split or torn around the cable aperture
