What it is

The Ariston 60000437 is a pressure relief valve rated at 7 bar, fitted to Ariston gas boilers in the Genus B PLUS and ACO PLUS families. It opens at its set pressure to discharge water from the heating circuit, protecting the boiler and associated pipework from over-pressurisation. This part supersedes the earlier number 61314112.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water dripping or weeping from the discharge pipe while the system is cold
  • System pressure rising above the normal cold fill pressure, or the gauge climbing during heating
  • The valve fails to reseat after a manual test and continues to pass water
  • Boiler locking out or displaying a pressure-related fault
  • Scale, debris or corrosion deposits visible around the valve outlet
