What it is
The Chaffoteaux 60000324 is a conversion kit that allows a Chaffoteaux gas boiler to be converted from natural gas (Nat) to LPG operation. It is a gas-carrying component group, so fitting and commissioning must be carried out by a competent Gas Safe registered engineer. The kit is specific to the boiler models it was released for, and the manufacturer's instructions for those models must be followed during conversion.
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and that a Nat to LPG conversion is permitted for it in the manufacturer's literature.
- Check the boiler's current gas type — this kit converts from natural gas to LPG, not the reverse.
- Verify that the appliance data badge and any gas rate or injector requirements for LPG can be met after conversion.
- Ensure the conversion is booked with a Gas Safe registered engineer, as the work involves gas-carrying parts and recommissioning.
