What it is
The Ariston 60000100 is a thermostat tube used across the Primo family of gas boilers. It forms the housing and guide path for the thermostat sensor, holding the sensing element in the correct position against the waterway so the boiler reads temperature accurately. It is a direct replacement component for the original tube fitted at manufacture.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler runs hot or cold against the setpoint, with the thermostat responding slowly or not at all
- Temperature readings drift or fluctuate during a draw-off, suggesting the sensor is not seated correctly in the tube
- The tube is corroded, scaled or distorted, preventing the sensor from sliding fully home
- Water weeping from around the tube joint or its sealing face
- Repeated lockouts or short cycling traced to an unreliable temperature signal
