What it is

The Chaffoteaux 60000054 is a closure plate used on Chaffoteaux System A series gas boilers. It forms part of the appliance casing and sealing arrangement, closing off the relevant opening on the boiler assembly. It is listed for the System A 24 RFFI and System A 30 RFFI natural gas models.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible corrosion, pitting or rust staining across the plate surface
  • Distortion or warping so the plate no longer sits flat against its mating face
  • A damaged or deteriorated sealing face, with evidence of leakage around the plate
  • Fixing holes elongated, cracked or stripped so the plate cannot be secured correctly
  • Physical damage such as cracks, splits or missing sections

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model against the fit list above before ordering
  • Check the existing plate for the part number 60000054 where it is marked
