What it is

The RS chamber top panel is a casing component manufactured by Alpha for the Alpha 240 family of gas boilers. It forms the upper section of the combustion chamber casing, closing off the top of the chamber within the appliance. It is supplied as a single panel.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible corrosion, rust staining or pitting across the panel surface
  • Distortion or warping from prolonged heat exposure
  • Cracks, splits or holes in the panel material
  • Panel no longer seating correctly or securing properly to the chamber
  • Signs of heat damage or scorching around the panel edges

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model against the fit list above, as several 240 variants use different casings
  • Check the part number on the existing panel or in the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
  • Verify the boiler variant, including LPG, P, X, XE and XP versions, before ordering
