What it is
The Alpha CH flow isolating valve is a 3/4 in isolation valve fitted to the central heating flow connection on Alpha gas boilers. It allows the heating circuit to be isolated for servicing or component replacement without draining the whole system. This version is supplied with seals (seal kit 745).
Signs this part needs replacing
- Weeping or dripping from the valve body or spindle
- Valve seized and will not turn when isolating the heating circuit
- Water escaping from the compression connections
- Corrosion or scale build-up around the valve
- System will not hold isolation during servicing
