What it is
The Alpha 6.5618331 is a summer/winter selector control knob for Alpha Ocean Style 80 FF and OF gas boilers. It carries tap and radiator symbols so the user can switch the appliance between domestic hot water only and combined heating and hot water operation. The knob mounts on the selector spindle and provides the manual interface for that setting.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The knob turns freely without changing the selector position
- Cracks, splits or missing sections in the knob body
- Tap and radiator symbols worn or no longer legible
- The knob is loose or has come away from the spindle
- Stiff or difficult movement between the summer and winter positions
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler is an Alpha Ocean Style 80 FF or 80 OF
- Check the existing knob's part number or symbol layout matches this item
- Inspect the selector spindle for damage before fitting a replacement knob
