What it is
The Alpha Wall Mounting Plate Extension C/W Screws/Plugs is a wall mounting plate extension bar, also listed as a top bracket, for Alpha Ocean range boilers. It extends the wall mounting plate fixing point so the appliance can be hung and secured against the wall. The part is supplied with its screws and plugs for installation.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The existing extension bar or top bracket is corroded, bent or cracked
- The boiler no longer sits square or secure against the wall plate
- Fixing points have pulled free or the bracket no longer holds the appliance firmly
- The wall plate assembly shows movement once the boiler is hung
Before you order
- Check the boiler model and GC number against the fit list above
- Confirm the existing wall plate requires an extension bar rather than a full replacement plate
- Check that the wall surface and existing fixings are sound before fitting the supplied screws and plugs
