What it is
The Alpha 6.5610451 is a thermocouple with an integrated limit thermostat, rated at 110°C. It is fitted to Alpha gas boilers to monitor the pilot flame and shut off the gas supply if the appliance overheats. The thermocouple generates the millivolt signal that holds the gas valve open, while the limit thermostat provides an additional safety cut-out.
