What it is
The Alpha 6.540439 is a sealing strip manufactured by Alpha for use in the top and bottom positions. It is a consumable sealing component intended to be fitted where a sealing face is required at both the upper and lower edges.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number 6.540439 matches the requirement before ordering, as sealing strips are consumable items.
- Check that both a top and a bottom strip are needed for the task in hand.
- Inspect the existing sealing faces for damage or debris that could affect the seal once the new strip is fitted.
- Store the strip flat and clean until installation to avoid contamination of the sealing surface.
