What it is

The Alpha 6.5404290 is a thermostat control knob for Alpha gas boilers in the 240 and 280 families. It fits onto the thermostat spindle and provides the user adjustment point for setting the boiler flow temperature. The knob carries the temperature scale markings used to reference the setting.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The knob is cracked, split or has broken away from its centre boss
