What it is
The Alpha washer CAF 11.0 x 6.1 with flow switch is a sealing washer supplied for the flow switch assembly on Alpha gas boilers. It sits at the flow switch connection and seals the joint against water loss under normal operating pressure. It is listed under O-rings, washers and gaskets in the Alpha gas boiler spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the flow switch joint
- Staining, corrosion or limescale tracking around the flow switch body
- The washer feels hard, flattened or cracked when removed
- Scale or debris embedded in the washer face, preventing a clean seal
- Repeated pressure loss traced to the flow switch connection
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is an Alpha Ocean Style 80 FF before ordering
- Match the GC number on the appliance data badge against the model listed above
- Compare the removed washer dimensions against 11.0 x 6.1
- Check whether the flow switch assembly itself also needs replacing
