What it is
The Alpha flexible hose (part number 6.0001046) is a spare component for Alpha gas boilers. It forms part of the boiler's internal pipework, connecting components where a rigid pipe run is not suitable. It is listed for use in the Alpha Combi MAX range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible weeping or damp staining around the hose connections
- Cracking, hardening or perishing of the hose material
- Corrosion or scaling at the end fittings
- Loss of system pressure that traces back to the hose
- Water marks or drips inside the boiler casing beneath the hose
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler is an Alpha Combi MAX 350 or Combi MAX 600
- Check the part number 6.0001046 against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
- Inspect the existing hose and its connections to confirm the fault lies with the hose rather than a joint or seal
