What it is
The Vokera 5971 is a silicone tube supplied for Vokera Mynute gas boilers. Silicone is used for hoses that must remain flexible and resist heat within the appliance. It is a serviceable spare for the Mynute 12/48 RS and Mynute 14/48 SP models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The tube has hardened or become brittle with age
- Visible cracks, splits or perishing in the silicone
- Discolouration or a tacky surface where the material has degraded
- A loose fit or poor seal at the connection points
- Signs of leakage or weeping around the tube
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler is a Vokera Mynute 12/48 RS or Mynute 14/48 SP
- Check the GC number on the appliance data badge against the model listed
- Verify the part number 5971 against the component being replaced
- Inspect the connection points for damage before fitting
