What it is
The Vokera 5911 is a fan assembly for Vokera gas boilers, supplied as a replacement for the earlier 6492 fan. It moves flue gases through the heat exchanger and out to the flue, and is used across the Linea, Mynute, Excell, Maxin and Flowmatic ranges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler locks out or fails to fire, with a fan-related fault indicated
- Fan runs noisily, with rumbling, screeching or grinding from the bearings
- Fan does not spin on start-up, or runs intermittently
- Boiler cuts out during or shortly after ignition
- Visible damage, soot or debris around the fan or flue path
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model and GC number against the list above
- Check the serial number where a range is specified — Linea 28 Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3, and Excell 96E variants, are split by serial number
- Check the part number on the existing fan — 5911 or the earlier 6492
- Confirm whether your appliance is the new hydraulics version where listed
