Altecnic RPZ Valve DN 32 1/2 M 10 bar

The Altecnic RPZ valve is a reduced pressure zone backflow prevention valve rated to 10 bar, with a DN 32 nominal size and a 1/2 M connection. It is fitted in a water supply line to prevent contamination of the upstream potable supply by reverse flow. It forms part of the Altecnic range of valves and gauges used on heating and water systems.

• Water discharging continuously from the relief or drain port when no flow is being drawn
• The valve fails its periodic backflow prevention test, or the test report records a fault
• Dripping or weeping from the valve body or relief outlet
• Reduced downstream flow or pressure loss across the valve
• Visible scale, corrosion or physical damage to the body or the test ports

• Confirm the pipework size and connection type match the DN 32 and 1/2 M stated on this valve
• Check that the system pressure does not exceed the 10 bar rating
• Confirm there is space for the valve to be installed and left accessible for testing and servicing
• Check the installation meets the backflow protection requirement for the premises
