What it is
The 1 1/4 MxM RPZ Valve is an Altecnic reduced pressure zone valve, supplied with male connections at both ends. It is used to prevent backflow in heating and plumbing installations, protecting the supply from contamination. It is listed for use with Altecnic gauges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water discharging or weeping from the relief port during normal operation
