What it is
The Ariston 573745 is a gas modulator cartridge, supplied as the modureg coil spindle for the gas valve assembly. It modulates gas pressure to the burner so the boiler can match output to heating and hot water demand. It is used across a number of Ariston DIA, Eurocombi and Genus gas boiler models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Burner output does not modulate, so the boiler runs at a fixed rate
- Flame instability or rough combustion at low fire
- Hot water temperature fluctuating rather than holding steady
- Boiler failing to light or locking out when modulation is called for
- Gas valve failing to respond to the modulation signal
