What it is
The Ariston 573740 is a modureg coil (solenoid) for the SIT tandem gas valve fitted to a range of Ariston gas boilers. It modulates gas flow by adjusting the valve in response to the boiler's demand signal. The coil is rated at 24V.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler runs at a fixed flame and does not modulate with demand
- Domestic hot water temperature fluctuates or runs hot then cold
- Central heating cycles frequently instead of modulating down
- Boiler locks out or reports a gas valve fault
- No change in flame when the modulation signal is applied
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model and serial number against the fitment list above
- Check the gas valve is a SIT tandem type
- Confirm the existing coil is rated at 24V
- Note the GC number where shown to match your appliance variant

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
