What it is
The Ariston 573441 is a detection electrode for Ariston gas boilers. It sits in the combustion circuit and supplies the flame ionisation signal that the boiler control board uses to confirm the burner has lit and to keep the gas valve open. If that signal is lost, the boiler shuts down and locks out.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler locks out during or shortly after ignition
- Repeated ignition attempts with no sustained flame signal
- Intermittent lockouts that clear on reset
- Flame detection fault indicated by the boiler controls
- Visible damage, contamination or corrosion on the electrode tip or its lead
