What it is
The Ariston 573434 is a fan assembly used on Ariston gas boilers in the DIA and Genus ranges. It moves combustion air through the appliance and discharges flue gases to atmosphere, working with the boiler's air pressure monitoring to prove safe operation before and during firing. It is a serviceable component fitted to a number of DIA 24 MFFI, DIA System 27 RFFI and Genus 27 BFFI UK variants.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Grinding, whining or rumbling noise from the fan area during start-up or running
- Boiler fails to fire, or locks out repeatedly on fan or air pressure related faults
- Fan does not spin or spins intermittently when the boiler calls for heat
- Overheat or flue-related lockouts caused by reduced air movement through the appliance
- Visible damage, contamination or stiffness when the fan is rotated by hand
