What it is
The Hamworthy 573409062 is a high limit thermostat manufactured by Hamworthy for use in its gas boilers. It forms part of the boiler's temperature safety circuit, cutting the burner when the sensed temperature rises above the preset limit. It is a serviceable control component rather than a general consumable.
Before you order
- Confirm 573409062 matches the number marked on the existing thermostat or listed in the boiler's documentation.
- Check whether the appliance uses separate high limit and control thermostats, so the correct component is ordered.
- Note the wiring connections and mounting position before removal so the replacement can be refitted in the same arrangement.
