What it is
The Ariston 573343 is a fan gasket for Ariston gas boilers. It seats at the fan mounting to seal the joint between the fan and the appliance casing. The gasket is a service item that is renewed whenever the fan is removed or replaced.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The gasket is cracked, hardened or flattened and no longer sits proud of the mounting face
- Soot staining or discolouration around the fan mounting joint
- A flue gas smell near the fan, or combustion readings drifting out of tolerance
- Whistling or chuffing at the fan joint when the appliance fires
- Condensate or water tracking past the fan seal
