What it is
This is an Ariston pipe assembly incorporating the main flow switch with a negative signal, manufactured under part number 573087. It forms part of the hydraulic circuit on Ariston Eurocombi and Genus MFFI gas boilers, where the flow switch signals the appliance that water is moving through the main circuit. The pipe and switch are supplied as a single assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to fire on a hot water or heating demand despite the pump running
- Intermittent hot water, with the appliance cutting in and out during draw-off
- Flow switch not registering movement in the main circuit, causing lockout or a fault code
- Water weeping from the pipe body, switch housing or connection joints
- Scale or debris build-up around the switch, giving erratic switching
Before you order
- Check the model and edition on the appliance data badge against the fit list above
- Confirm the fuel type of the boiler, as NG and LPG variants are listed separately
- Inspect the existing pipe and switch assembly for the fault before ordering, so the correct component is replaced
- Confirm the part number 573087 matches the number shown in the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
