What it is
The Ariston 571965 is a 13mm O-ring used across the Ariston Eurocombi and Genus gas boiler families. It provides a compression seal at a water-carrying joint, preventing weeping or drips where components meet. It is a service item, so it is replaced whenever the joint is disturbed or the rubber has perished.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible weeping or a drip at the joint the O-ring seals
- Water staining, corrosion or limescale tracking around the joint face
- The O-ring has hardened, flattened or taken a set and no longer sits proud of its groove
- Cracking, splitting or perishing of the rubber
- The joint has been opened for another repair and the old seal cannot be reused
