What it is
The Ariston 571771 is a spring for the main flow switch assembly used in Ariston gas boilers. It forms part of the flow switch mechanism that detects water movement through the appliance and signals demand to the control board. The spring returns the switch to its rest position once flow stops.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to fire on a hot water demand despite adequate flow at the tap
- Hot water delivery is intermittent, cutting in and out during draw-off
- The flow switch does not return cleanly to its rest position when flow stops
- Rattling or mechanical noise from the flow switch housing during operation
- Repeated flow-related fault codes or lockouts on the appliance
