What it is
The Ariston 571662 is an ignition electrode cable for Ariston gas boilers. It carries the high-voltage spark from the ignition source to the ignition electrode at the burner. It is used across the Ariston Genus and Eurocombi appliance families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to ignite or locks out repeatedly
- No spark at the electrode when ignition is called
- Visible cracking, burning or brittleness on the cable insulation
- Arcing or tracking marks at the cable ends or connectors
- Intermittent ignition faults that come and go
