What it is
The Ariston 571653-01 is an air pressure switch rated at 96 Pa, used on Ariston Microsystem RFFI gas boilers. It monitors the pressure generated by the combustion fan and proves that airflow is established before the boiler is allowed to fire. It is fitted to appliances from the serial number ranges listed below.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler locks out or fails to fire with the fan running normally
- Lockout occurs intermittently, often clearing on reset before returning
- Fan proving fault or air pressure fault indicated by the boiler controls
- No ignition sequence initiated despite a demand for heat
- Boiler cuts out shortly after firing and will not complete a run cycle
