What it is
The Ariston 571547 is a diaphragm for the main flow switch fitted to Ariston gas boilers. It sits inside the flow switch assembly and responds to water movement through the domestic hot water circuit, allowing the boiler to register a draw-off. It is a service component for Eurocombi, Genus, Microgenus and DIA System appliances.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Domestic hot water runs cold or the boiler does not fire on a hot water demand
- Hot water is intermittent, cutting in and out during draw-off
- The boiler fails to detect flow when a tap is opened
- The diaphragm is split, stretched, hardened or distorted on inspection
- Water weeping from the flow switch housing
