What it is
The Ariston 570760 is an anti-frost thermostat used on Ariston Microsystem RFFI gas boilers. It monitors ambient temperature around the appliance and brings the boiler on to protect the appliance and system from frost damage. It is supplied as a service component for the Microsystem RFFI range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler does not fire during cold spells when frost protection should operate
- Frost protection function fails to activate as ambient temperature drops
- Boiler remains idle in an unheated installation where frost protection is expected
- Intermittent or no response from the boiler in low-temperature conditions
- Boiler locks out during cold weather
