What it is
The Ariston 570713 is a microswitch for the main flowswitch circuit on Ariston gas boilers. It signals the control system when water flow is detected, allowing the appliance to fire on demand. It is used across a number of Ariston DIA, Challenger, SX and Eurocombi models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to fire on a hot water or heating demand
- Intermittent operation, with the boiler firing only while the demand is held
- Boiler locks out or shows a fault shortly after a demand starts
- No response from the boiler when a hot water tap is opened
- Pump runs but the boiler does not ignite
